Against All Odds
At times, making Luminis just feels impossible. There are so many obstacles that stand in your way.
There are just so many things to watch out for. When you create some enemies, you encounter bugs. When you make a nice looking environment, you witness performance issues. Sometimes, you see that what you thought was perfect just isn’t for some players. And you get those hundreds and thousands of those issues over the course of 3 years.
The hardest part about game dev is really perseverance. It’s going forward no matter how many times you get hit. Against all odds.
But at the same time, I’m drawn to accomplishing it. Developing and finishing this game feels like a calling - a calling I’ve been following for years.
