Acceleration

Since my return from the military service in Taiwan, I have been juggling between studies, work and development.

I have been attending a business school in France for a while now, and I also have a job at a French macaron shop. So during the day, I either study or work (unless the courses at school are too boring (XD) or when there are no clients visiting the macaron shop and I’m idle. In those cases I would work on the game).

However, once I return home at night, I would work relentlessly on the game, often from 8pm to 1 or 2am in the morning. All this for the Early Access that is coming out in 2028.

Frankly, it’s been pretty tiring. I often only sleep 4-6 hours a day. Nevertheless, I am very obsessed with the process of creation. I really love creating new things, whether it be a new environment, a new weapon, or a new gameplay mechanic. This obsession has driven me to work on the game despite the fatigue.

During the last 5 years, I added several gameplay abilities:

  1. Close combat system with combo melee attacks and power attacks (Dash punch and Ground pound)
  2. Fixed so many bugs…
  3. (Early Access Only) Progression system where you have to unlock different stages of dash, turret, ally power, melee and power attacks to become more powerful in the game. 4, (Early Access Only) Added 2 elite enemy types: one uses a lance and the other uses fists. They are capable of delivering powerful combo attacks.
  4. (Early Access Only) Added a new boss: Mycelion the Fire Breather.
  5. (Early Access Only) Added 2 new weapons: The PeaceMaker Rocket Launcher and The Synthetizer Energy Weapon (The Synthetizer links its projectile core with nearby enemies, dealing massive healing damage.) Both weapons consume a lot of ammo per shot, especially The Synthetizer.
  6. (WIP) (Early Access Only) Working on integrating co-op mode (2 Player PVE) into Early Access.
  7. (WIP) (Early Access Only) Working on a new environment - The Bunker.
